Leslie Shallcross, Home Economist with the Cooperative Extension Service, will be at the Spenard Farmers' Market at 26th and Spenard Road on July 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to answer your questions about food preservation and nutrition. Because of another event at Chilkoots on July 24, market visitors will need to park in the lot adjacent to the building formerly used by Hewitts Drugs in the 1000 block of West Fireweed Lane or in the lot behind LaMex at 2550 Spenard Road.
